WITH SO MANY TATTOO SHOPS AROUND THE AREA, WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE TO GET A TATTOO OR PIERCING AT INK RUSH TATTOO?

All of our artists go to great lengths to make sure you receive the best service, as well as the best tattoo and/or piercing. We take pride in listening to each clients' artwork ideas and work hard in guiding you with the best advice on tattoo size, placement and final execution of the piece. Our artists are very friendly and are here to guide you through this!

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT & IF SO, DO I NEED TO PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT TO SECURE MY TIME SLOT?

For piercings, appointments are not necessary. We have body piercing artists who frequently work with walk-in clients. For tattoos, it depends on the size and location of your desired tattoo. For smaller pieces, it is easier to fit in, mind you there may be a small window of wait time. Larger tattoos are subject case-by-case depending on if it is an idea that needs to be drawn up or is something that can be altered to suit your design idea. For a walk-in inquiry of availability, you do not need a deposit secured, however, this means that there may be a wait time for the next available artist. If you wish to make an appointment, you will need to come in and put down a deposit, which will go towards the final price of the tattoo. On Friday's & Saturday's we may still have an artist available for walk-ins, but this changes from week to week. If you are curious about our walk-in availability, you can give us a call at one of our three locations. Click HERE to find our shops!

If you are interested in getting a tattoo but do not know who you want to do it, we are more than happy to talk to you about your ideas. Our front desk staff are very skilled at directing you to the right artist.

HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?

There is no "set" cost of a tattoo. Each piece is priced based on size, location of the tattoo & color vs. black & grey. Smaller tattoos are subject to be priced up front, but larger tattoos may need to be drawn up and then priced OR priced at an hourly rate.

I'M UNDER THE AGE OF 18, CAN I GET A TATTOO IF A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN SIGNS FOR ME?

Absolutely not. Under Georgia State Law, it is required for you to be at least 18 years of age to get a tattoo. Furthermore, it does not matter if your parent or guardian says that it is okay - it is illegal to tattoo someone under the age of 18.

ARE TATTOOS SAFE?

Here at Ink Rush, your health and safety is our biggest priority and we diligently work to keep up with the most up-to-date health and safety regulations with the Carroll County Environmental Health, a division of the Carroll County Health Department. We provide new needles for every client and adhere to strict procedures to avoid cross-contamination. You can expect to see disposable razors, disposable ink holders and barriers on everything that must be touched during the tattoo process.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY TATTOO OR PIERCING?

At all three of our shops, we use and highly recommend H2Ocean products. We carry these products for the highest level of care for your tattoo and/or piercing. We carry the tattoo ointments, skin moisturizing cream and the spray. When taking care of your new tattoo, always wash your hands before touching the tattoo or area. Do not use a washcloth or anything abrasive on your new tattoo. Gently wash your new tattoo while in the shower with your hand. Your tattoo will scab over like a sunburn - do not pick or scratch at it. Let this naturally heal itself by ridding of the scabs by itself.

For your piercing, we highly recommend NeilMed Aftercare products. NeilMed is drug free, preservative free, and causes zero burning or stinging. This product is a sterile saline solution that cleans wounds. This product comes as a mist and is convenient for travel or on-the-go.

I'M UNDER THE AGE OF 18, CAN I GET A PIERCING IF A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN SIGNS FOR ME?

Yes, you can. In order to get a piercing, you will need to bring in 1) Minor's state issue photo ID 2) Parent OR Legal Guardians state issued photo ID and 3) Minor's Birth Certificate. Your parent / legal guardian MUST be present with you to sign the proper consent forms. If a Legal Guardian is bringing you, they must bring in the proper paperwork that shows guardianship. Please give us a call at one of our three locations for any questions and to check on the minor approved piercings.
